Terms & Conditions (AGB – Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen)

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made via www.bharatbazaar.de and in-store at Bharat Bazaar, Eisenbahnstraße 65, 67655 Kaiserslautern, Germany.

2. Our Products

Bharat Bazaar specializes in the sale of Indian groceries and food products. In addition, we proudly offer a curated selection of Persian and Pakistani products. All products are described to the best of our ability, but minor variations may occur. All prices include applicable VAT unless otherwise noted.

3. Order Process

By placing an order on our website, you agree to purchase the products selected in accordance with these terms. Once your order is submitted, you will receive an automatic email confirming receipt. The contract is concluded once we accept the order and begin fulfilment.

4. Payment

Payments are handled securely through Shopify’s built-in payment gateways. Accepted methods may include credit/debit cards, PayPal, Klarna, or other options visible at checkout.

5. Shipping & Pickup

We offer local delivery (where available) and free in-store pickup from our location in Kaiserslautern. Shipping fees, if any, will be calculated during checkout.

6. Returns & Cancellations

Returns are accepted for unopened, non-perishable goods within 14 days of purchase. Perishable and opened goods are excluded unless defective. Please contact us via email before returning any product.

7. Liability

We are not liable for indirect damages or delays caused by third parties or events outside our control. Product images may differ slightly from the actual product.

8. Data Protection

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found at www.bharatbazaar.de/privacy-policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive jurisdiction for disputes is Kaiserslautern, Germany.

10. Alternative Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

We are not obligated or willing to participate in dispute resolution procedures before a consumer arbitration board.

11. Copyright & Image Usage

All images used on www.bharatbazaar.de and in any marketing material are subject to copyright protection. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of these images — including for personal or commercial purposes — is prohibited. Violations of copyright law may result in legal action.
